Lynd Fruit Farm is pet friendly. This homestead farm on Morse Road, Pataskala consists of more than 300 acres of apples, peaches, nectarines, plums, pumpkins, pears and sweetcorn. They also have a seasonal farm market, sunflowers and giant cornmaze. Lynd Fruit Farm is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from12pm to 6pm.

Scioto Greenway is pet friendly. Bring your leashed pooch for a walk alongside the Scioto River on this paved pathway. The trail itself is just over 12 miles in length and is a great way to make it between five parks situated across the city. Dog owners are reminded to clean up any mess that is left behind by their pups.

Explore Columbus by Street Photography' is a pet-friendly Airbnb Experience hosted by Keith. Let your host know when booking that Fido will be joining you for the fun. You and your pooch will get to explore and learn about Columbus as you photograph its people, public art, architecture and more along the way. Bring your camera; your host will show you tips and techniques for street photography. The experience lasts 2.5 hours and can accommodate up to 8 guests ages 18 and up. Please bring your photo ID card. Rates start at $40 per person.

The Scioto Mile is a dog-friendly pathway stretching along the downtown Columbus riverfront from the vibrant Arena District on the north end to the natural beauty of the Whittier Peninsula on the south. The Scioto Mile is comprised of more than 145 acres of lush parkland, fountains, scenic overlooks and a riverfront promenade. Leashed dogs are welcome, as long as they are well-behaved, avoid water features and are cleaned up after.

Leashed dogs are welcome inside and out at Pins Mechanical Co. in Columbus, OH. This dog-friendly bar has fun games like bowling and pinball. No food is served but they sometimes have food trucks, and you're welcome to bring your own food or snacks. They also have beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks available for purchase. No outside beverages are allowed.

Quarry Trails Metro Park is pet-friendly. Located along the west bank of the Scioto River, the 220-acre park has been described as an “urban Hocking Hills experience.” Leashed outbound hounds can explore the park’s trails, view the beautiful waterfall from an overlook, and ramble around the former quarry. Plans are already in place for the installation of a dog park at Quarry Trails.

Battelle Riverfront Park is a dog-friendly, 4.1-acre area along the Scioto Greenway in downtown Columbus. Follow the trail through the park with Fido and explore the different monuments in the park, which include one for firefighters and another for war veterans. Dogs must be leashed while visiting this park.

For individual or groups of foster dogs, dogs in shelters, and hospice dogs there is no charge. They also offer private dog training lessons and are a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Open daily from 11am to 7pm. Park is closed from December to April.
